Aaron Chaffin – General Manager & PGA Professional
Aaron was born and raised in Oklahoma and is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a Professional Golf Management option. Six years ago he expanded his family by marrying his love, Jessica, and in 2016 added their first child, Jack! Aaron spent the past eight seasons working as the First Assistant Professional at Shuttle Meadow Country Club. He was also fortunate enough to have been employed as an Assistant Professional at some of America’s finest private clubs, including: John’s Island Club in Vero Beach, Florida; Shoreacres, a top 100 private facility outside of Chicago; and the famed, Winged Foot Golf Club. In 2014, Aaron was recognized as the Assistant Professional of the Year for the Connecticut Section, and he was also elected to serve as the President of the CT PGA Assistant’s Association. Aaron looks forward to using his experience and knowledge to enhance the operations at Southington Country Club.
The Southington Country Club is located in the picturesque “Apple Valley” between the Meriden and Waterbury Mountain Ranges. The Connecticut country club is a public par 71 golf course. The front nine is built on a hilly open terrain while the narrower back nine is much flatter. Water comes into play on 10 of the holes.
The Clubhouse
The Southington Country Club Clubhouse includes a fully stocked pro shop and full service restaurant, sports bar and banquet room, The Back Nine Tavern. The outside patio overlooks the beautiful front nine grounds and is open year round to the public.
Full restaurant and bar featuring specialty brick fired pizza, burgers and appetizers.
Open to the public for lunch and dinner 7 days a week!
